happy birthday shushan.
happy early birthday yiwen.
and merry belated christmas everyone.

(: (: (:

spent christmas eve buying stuff with dad and mum at ntuc. i thought on christmas eve everyone should be at home with their families or something, but the place was still damn crowded. met junxuan who was working there, so i asked him to quickly go home after he finished working, cos it was christmas eve (: stayed at home at night watching love actually with dad and mum. thought i'd get to watch it with chu at either her house or my house, but in the end i didn't. hohum and where's all your empty promise of 'i gt dis tingling feeling tht we'd spend xmas tgt!!'?? ):

anyway I DON'T BELIEVE I'VE NEVER WATCHED THAT MOVIE BEFORE. actually not exactly true, once watched the uncensored version of it at matthew's house, and i couldn't tolerate it after like 15 minutes cos it was just too..uncensored for my pure mind. haha nah, the main reason was cos me and crystal had to leave early then. anyway the movie was gorgeous, 10 love stories all squeezed into one movie, the script-writer/director has got to be some genius. me and ely's favouritest part:

aww x) x) but i feel sad for the guy, cos he really loves juliet so so much.

and i like the way my friend puts it - 'i live the simple life, no matter what time of the year'. i guess this describes my christmas the best. everyone was happily spending time with their big families. me dad and mum stayed at home. this is one thing about living in another country, you spend festivals with friends as lonely as you, and not with all your extended family members. but i guess in one way it saves you much trouble too yea. i don't know.

anyway spent quite a big part of my day getting myself hugged by my cosy blanket and my nose buried behind some old duzhes. i must say it's the bestest chinese magazine in this whole world. it's a great friend cos i don't feel lonely when i'm with it, and you can just read it over and over again and each time you get a new experience.

anyhow! counting down to 2007. i must say i'm starting to get slightly sick of the holiday, though it has not been a very well-spent one. there had been plenty of promises before the holiday, and many of them didn't come true. such as watching the hongkong drama about fencing with bernice and sichen, such as going to anghee's house with the dance girls to eat her auntie's yummy yummy cooking and mess up her bed, such as meeting up with nganching for just one simple meal, such as making daphne come all the way to the east for a game of badminton at tampines sports hall (which is not my idea lol). blame my laziness! just hope the remaining days of the year will be better spent (:
