oh and THANK YOU STACEY for the books the five people you meet in heaven and for one more day. the five people you meet in heaven is kinda a typical mitch albom book but i thought for one more day is really really nice. and yea yea thank you johnny for helping me borrow them yes, lol.
er jie's getting married next month, despite much initial disapproval from her parents. and so i give them my best wishes. i asked er ge when is he gonna get married, since even his younger cousin is getting married before him. and he said he can still wait for me to get married first. HOHUM. but seriously, given his looks and height and educatioal background and job and salary and all those superficial things that a society looks out for, and of course his characters, he deserves a very very good girl. maybe that's why he thinks he can wait? but no he shouldn't. gege can you just go for that girl please.
napfa's next week, and my standing broad jump's still in hell. sbj is forever the one item that i can't get my A for. past years i could still manage to scrape a B or a C, but now i can't even guarantee a D. plus the teachers haven't been giving us intensive trainings for napfa this year, and i haven't fenced for almost a month, so i guess i can bid farewell to a few of my As too, and so there goes my gold. but dad says as if they'll look at your napfa results for university admission, so heck. just wanna get done with it quickly.
# life is this weird. when you don't get something that you really really want to get, you get upset. when you get it but you never maximise your opportunity, you get upset too. studies matter more than anything else at the moment, but of course we've picked up valuable lessons from the sport too which apply to studies as well as life. like how we don't give up easily both on and off the piste, and how we can never predict the ending cos we never know what'll happen next. and most importantly we find great friendships in one another. you see, there's still a long way in front of us, let's look further ahead ok (:
