the class girls went to support cynthia at basketball final today. rj lost to vj 53-50. i felt really upset for her and for the school. i guess the feeling of losing in one-against-one sports is actually worse than other usual forms of competition, cos for competitions in which you compete against a whole lot of others, even if you are not the best you probably won't be the worst, but in combatting sports, either you win or you lose, and sometimes the difference can be minute but the glory only goes to one.

anyhow! i'm very sure the girls put in lots of effort so a silver is good enough too! i think our batch is some imba batch la. look at how many gold medals are being brought home these days. and to think that the people who earned all these are just among you and me. dunmanhigh was never quite like this when it came to sports, maybe cos we only had a few sports ccas to start with. and so i wish only if i could contribute to the school in such a manner too. raffles has always been achieving this and that but i never really make a difference in any way.

ah well. i'm glad i finally survived the last week of school though my afternoon naps are getting longer and longer x( heh. this week eme got me a pink cushion. cynthia got me a shirt. kelvin and xunyong got me a pair of puffy slippers. fencers got me a necklace, with the card specially designed by sandra hui who seems to specialise in making me unique birthday cards lol. THANK YOU da jia for prolonging my birthday mood (:
