i could see the top half of the ndp fireworks from my living room (:

dad's university classmates are having a gathering this weekend at their school, 20 years after they graduated. but he can't make it, i think he's quite upset ): especially that he used to be the class monitor lol.

students in many other parts of asia are studying day and night like they are glued to their tables in order to squeeze their ways into universities, and even then only a fraction of them can make it. i'll say singapore's students are spoiled with choices.

and i was just wondering when you really appreciate someone a lot, and you really wish the person'll appreciate you back equally much, do you achieve that by being nice to the person all the time; or do you only treat the person nicely half of the time and pretend that the person doesn't even exist the other half of the time, hoping that the person'll treasure the moments when you are nice even more, or for whatever other reasons. i thought the answer's quite obvious.

just being random.
