aabbcd for prelims. all the sacrifices and all the late nights must have paid off somewhat, though chem was quite a disappointment, and gp and econs have left me .. just devastated. but i guess the grades are pretty good reflections of my current standard, so i'll just have to work harder. as for bio, i must have learnt how to stop chasing after my own tail haha. but my bio has never been quite good so maybe this time i'm just a bit luckier than usual. so plenty of room for improvement.

that day i stepped onto the train at city hall and saw 4 dunman high girls sitting there writing their homework profusely. and then i realised i almost forget how it feels like to be a studious hardworking good student who obtains decent results, and who gets excited over pressing on her calculator to see how many marks she needs to get that a1. haha.

and i think i'm quite a lousy friend. when i don't do well for exams i'll expect the whole world to come to me and console me. but when my friends don't do so well, or don't do as well as they'd expected to (even if that means they still do way better than me and are just sad over a 69.1 for physics which got rounded down instead of rounded up), i'm quite at a loss for what to do and what to say and how much to say. like what ely has once done for me (or claimed to have done for me), maybe all i can do is to just be there, but at least i'll be there. well i guess now that all our papers are back, it's time to shove them aside after we've learnt our mistakes, and to look ahead to what really matters at the end of the day. prelims after all just serves the purpose of a reference so we shan't lose focus yea? stay hungry stay foolish (:

what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

i had my last 2 formal lectures today, and tomorrow's the last day of formal school. i guess now i feel pretty similar to how i felt this time 2 years ago, but not exactly the same. aiya i'm bad at putting my emotions into words la. in fact i'm just bad at words.
