and so it has come to the last week of lessons as an undergrad student, though it's still going to be packed with quizzes and test and report submission and presentation. wanqing asked me how it feels like, or do i feel nothing at all. honestly, i don't know, haha. i try to recall how my last weeks at dunman high and rj felt like. i can't quite remember what i did on those days, but i can vaguely remember feeling quite sentimental.

actually don't you agree that many big occurrences in life can be hard to recognise, because they may not feel big or serious at that moment. you still do what you are supposed to do, day in day out. and it's only when you look back at them then you realise that they did happen.

sometimes i wonder, if i were not blessed with the ability to read chinese, how much great literature in this world would i have missed out on; if i were not taught to write in chinese, how should i express my feelings when my english cannot do the job.

You confuse being weird and spending time alone. But anyone who's really interested in anything spends time alone. If you want to be good at something, you have to practice, and usually you practice by yourself.

-Curtise Sittenfield (from this storybook that i read in jc)

还记不记得去年的那天
我们在天空和草地之间
看着天上不知名的星星
听着地上微微的虫鸣

went to the library with shiyi yesterday after taking kfc breakfast. came across so many mums with their toddlers/babies along the way, and many of them were holding their children around in their arms without looking tired at all. women seem to turn into superwomen once they become mothers.

me: next time i want to bring my daughter to the library too.
sy: me too.
me: let's bring our daughters to the library together ok.

((: will miss her so much when she's away.
