i guess this song is one of those things that give me a sense of belonging to singapore. the year that it was introduced was the year that i came to singapore, this country that i've lived in for longer than any other place. and each time i listen to the song my heart feels very warm and protected heh heh. this morning mum was scolding me for some trivial thing as usual. and when i was pouting and frowning, dad said aren't you lucky to have a mum around you to scold you. then they were saying how they wouldn't get to scold me as freely in a couple of months' time, and dad suggested sending me howlers like what mrs weasley does to ron. hahaha.
